KARL – ANTON “the world’s first cartoon pop star” is a virtual character with which Udo Schöbel addressed his fans in the early 1990s on the Internet, which at the time was still considered virgin territory. With the help of Chris Colshorn and his company – LIVING SCREEN – plus the animator Stefan Heilemann – HEILEMANIA an internet series with weekly new POPNEWS was created.
